over half the world population lives in cities today. they are the epicentre of our social models and economic powerhouses, with six hundred cities representing as much as 60% of worldwide GDP, according to McKinsey.

urbanization is accelerating at a rate cities are not prepared for, aggravating pre-existing socioeconomic problems and adding new challenges along the way.

this is why we need a new, smarter society, that fully embraces the technological boom of the 21st century – referred to by some as the fourth industrial revolution (4IR) – in order to combat the inequalities and challenges hindering cities from becoming cohesive and welcoming structures for all. I want to build a society using 4IR-enabled frontier technology solutions, for cities to empower citizens and industries.
